About
I’m a Year 2 student in the Computer Systems program at the University of Limerick. I transferred to UL after earning a Diploma in Information Security Technology Application from Beijing Polytechnic College, and I also have experience working as a technical assistant on a system integration team.
Outside of coursework, I have some background in development, operations, and networking. I like putting that to use by writing small scripts to automate the boring stuff — I’d rather spend an hour automating a task than do it by hand ten times. I also try to contribute to open-source projects whenever I spot something I can help with. When I’m not doing that, I’m probably playing Dota 2.
I also write about what I learn. My blog is where I share those notes and experiments into something my friends (and anyone else) can use. If something here helps you, or you just want to say hi, feel free to reach out.
